Going up there this weekend. Choice of bikes is either Orange 5 or Alpine 160. Which is more suited ? 8)

i'm duty bound to suggest a hardtail, possibly singlespeed.
but in your case, probably the 5.

5. Ktree is very uppy downy, nothing really technical. Lugging a 160 around it would be horrid.

Nowt at Kirroughtree that your 5 won't murder. My fave UK trail centre.

Have to agree I'm afraid, 4" hardtail was way more fun and faster than 5" FS on the two occassions I've been in the last year.
In your case, the Five will be the better option.
