A bit late, but we are headed that way tomorrow. We will be using trailforks and strava as well as an OS map. Can anyone give us any advice on the best way to link up a few of the trails without doing silly distance (aware it will be a longer day!)

Grind up the mamore lodge road til you think you might die. Grind a little further. Actually die. Grind a bit more. And you're there!

The first one is really easy to spot- there's a picnic bench up above it, a deer fence with a gate running across it, and a really visible trail. The next one's not quite so obvious- it's on the outside of a lefthand bend but you have to ride down and then up the other side to get to it. (this one is possibly the best trail I've ever ridden)

THere's another one a bit further up the same road but it's a bit less easy to spot and a total slog to get to the top of. Excellent trail but really hard work.

Oh and then there's the dreaded sooks pipe, which is up the pipeline road. But if you're going up that far you may as well ride the ciaran path, which is well overrated but still a lot of fun.

How did you get on?

The mountains above the trails mentioned offer FAR superior rides, and you can still finish off on those daft trails at the end
