Does this still happen?
I appear to have a kink in a Specialized fast track tyre, I have tried shifting it around the rim but it's still kinked in the same place on the tyre. Is it recoverable of is it for the bin?

Yep, still happens. I've managed to do it to 2 spesh purgs and a maxxis shorty in the last few years. The shorty isn't [i]too bad[/i] but the spesh were bin jobs.
