OK.....So the Kingdom Vendetta X3 is on my radar......
Tell me about yours and please share pics if possible.....
Sizing also curious; My Geometron G1 and EMTB are both 515mm reach, so thoughts on the X3 sizing....
I'll go L with a 200mm dropper I think.........Again, your thoughts welcomed.....
TIA

I have an X2.

Apart from the additive manufactured parts its kinda the same - especially mine because it was longer and lower than the standard X2.

I went custom because it wasn't alot more money than stock and I could get what I wanted. The X2 in my size was too tall in the seat tube, too short on reach and ETT,too low in stack and too high in BB.

Just looking now, Seems like I could live with a stock X3 but its still a little shorter reach than ideal - not far out though.

I'm 182cm and would choose the large if I was buying again.

My X2 turned out very nicely. I was chasing a few attributes that I couldn't get all in one frame, and its turned out to feel exactly like I wanted it.

I got a Vendetta 22 last year, as above I went custom to get what I wanted, a bit off the reach, a shorter fork (130mm) and a seat tube that would allow a one-up 210mm drop post to fit with about 10mm to spare. I had a 631 steel stanton before that and basically wanted similar geo but with more standover. Frame turned out great, I am happy with the build quality and geometry, and the folks at Kingdom were really helpful, always quick to reply to any queries etc and kept me updated on build time etc. If I could change one thing I guess the tubing being plain gauge doesn't feel as forgiving as my old slackline Ti I had a while ago, but with big comfy tyres and a nice plush front fork you don't really notice.
Heres a pic, with the seat down it's a hooligan of a bike.

Size wise, I like my frames on the smaller side of what is currently on trend, 457mm on my sull sus and I went with 440mm static on the Kingdom, grow to about 450 when sagged. I'm just under 6'

nice one fellas.
I'm 182cm also, but like the long reach of my G1......Will need to measure the G1 and EMTB standover for dropper sizing...
Thanks again..

I see we're posting pictures, so...

X2

Although, thats not current. It now has a fork commensurate with its performance.

Okay.

I had a Pole Taival prior. It couldn't fit a 2.4 on the rear on a wide rim, and the seat tube was tall enough that I couldn't run a 200mm dropper. With a 2.3 tyre I needed a bit of extra pressure for my 90kgs to stop snakebites and I felt it was a bit too harsh as a result. Otherwise, pretty much its my perfect HT.

So, my X2 rides like a more comfy, lighter Taival, which is exactly what I wanted.

Steve on Hardtail Party sums up my views of the Taival. It's literally the review I would have made.

You can hit 15:45 for the summary, or enjoy the whole thing.

Science…is the TAIVEL not subtly longer and slacker in comparison ?

I got an X3 couple of years ago from TF Tuned after riding a mates X2, I rode the X2 and straight away new it was a hooligan. TF put some 140 pikes on for me so it’s a bit twitchy on the ascents but a real ripper on the downs. I have a few bikes but this in 29’er is my go to bike for most trails and I like the fact that I’ve got lifetime warranty on it so I do thrash it

Can't comment much on the ride as the geometry on mine is pretty different to what you're looking at. It rides like a hardcore hardtail, don't expect a magic carpet ride because it's Ti, just a slightly lower weight than an equivalent steel frame, and of course corrosion resistant, no need to worry about paint etc.
