Hi guy and girls I am converting my Jamis Dragonslayer into a fully rigid 29er exploration bike. I've been ogling at a set of Kinesis Maxlight Boost forks but can't seem to find any magazine reviews or customer reviews. I was wondering if anyone on her uses them and can give me some feedback? Thanks
I've been using a pair for a while now and put 500 or so offroad miles on them.
I find them really good. They strike a nice balance between stiffness and comfort.
The two most recent rigid bike I've been riding are a Singular swift, and a Bootzipper.
The Swift has a long, twangy steel fork and the bootzipper a short, very stout steel fork with boost axle.
The Swift is very comfy, but slightly flexy. It's really good. The Bootzipper is pretty harsh really, but you could load it up happily with a massive load and still not be troubled with flex.
The carbon Kinesis is somewhere in between. It steers as nicely as the BZ but is much comfier. Certainly a little harsher than the Swift though.
Still, it's a rigid fork, there's not really that much between them all. The light weight is of course very welcome on the front too.

I have a set on my stooge mk3. Was a bit apprehensive before buying them but I am really pleased I have them now I've used them for a few weeks. Very light and precise steering and cope really well with all my local single track and trails (including small drop offs and jumps). I'm running a 27.5 x 3" tyre with mine.
@bedmaker thanks for the feedback, that's just what I needed to know. I have owned a carbon rigid fork in the past that were way too stiff and harsh. Lovely bike by the way.
@easdoesit cheers for your feedback. I plan on running carbon 29er wheels with a 2.6 rear and 2.8 front. Good to hear they can take a bit of abuse.
I've got the same forks but OE not Kinesis. They are very nice, although they are the only carbon mtb forks I have so I can't tell you how comfortable they are!
