the route over was marked as closed last time I was up a few months ago. Is it open now would anyone know? Thinking about doing the cross border route from the castle tomorrow  if possible.Â
In truth I can't really answer that ..I can't think why it wouldn't be ..however I was at the Bike Place this afternoon and there was a rider in the workshop who had been on the woodwork section of the Lonesome Pine Trail and had come off his bike ( as did two of his mates ) ..and there were / are notices advising you to dismount and walk this section in wet / damp conditions ..( 2km!) ..
