Any pointers on kids seats? Wee one is still a few months away yet but there is some deals in Jan sales so looking now. I can't find anything rear mounted to fit a full sus so had been thinking of getting a hardtail on cycle to work (main use is going to be nursery transport!). I've seen a few front mounted ones and was curious if anyone had experience? When I worked in the trade 10 years ago we never recommended front mounted as they were pretty poor design but I'm wondering if the design has moved on since then? Front mounted would make it easier to fit on the existing bike but I don't want to put him in a death trap. Whatever it is also needs to stand up to light off road use too.
Would never use rear ones as all the kid gets to see is your back. They love being at the front however.
We had a Kangaroo one, and was a sad day when Jnr FD got too big for it.
There was a thread about this a few weeks ago. And the Hamax ones will fit a full suss around the seat tube if clearance allows.

I was at the council tip last week and someone had dumped a rubbish fs mountain bike with a brand spanking new WeeRide on it, the tip manager wouldn't let me have it.
We already have one and it fits any of the bikes in the house except the ones with drop bars..
