Well... this is partly advice and partly a stealth ad!
My, just turned, 6 year old is pretty keen on long distances, he did his first bikepacking trip when he was 4 and his first 50km day when he was 5... he loves it
He is cooking up plans for things he wants to do once lockdown is over. More bike packing and he wants to do a 60+km day, as apparently he’s 6 so has to do 60!?
He just got a 24” nukeproof for his bday which is awesome but heeeaaavy and with fat draggy tyres.
So, thinking about getting him a drop bar bike for the long days, to make it a bit easier for him. Only problem is, we spent far too much on his nukeproof, so it needs to be cheap (but good), so used
Anything I should be looking at and also, does anyone have one they want to offload?
Cheers

My work colleague has a 24" isla bike luath that needs selling, it's in pretty good condition, but pretty old now, it's one of the original red ones. No idea what it's worth, but I'm sure it won't be that much. Midlands based if that helps?

Check the sizing. A 24” MTB may fit a similar child to a 26” CX from Islabikes. Don’t know but definitely worth checking.
We have a 26” Luath which he rode alongside his Kona Stinky 2-4 (24” wheel) but we’re a few months from selling yet.
He's also got a 26 luath in similar condition that needs to go!
