I'm wondering if Five Ten have removed the lace version of the Kids Freerider shoe from their range, as my boys have outgrown the Velcro version and looking around there don't appear to be any lace versions for sale in size 4 (even at full price) anywhere.

Looking at the Adidas/Five Ten site, it only shows the Velcro version for kids Freerider Kids VCS), and only up to size 3, so my assumption is that I need to check out adults shoes for them, however searching around for adults Five Ten shoes in that size is proving challenging/impossible.

I'll have some coming up for sale in 2-3 months in a 6 mate. Not worn much by my lad but he's growing

Thanks both - I suspect Five Ten (under Adidas) have reduced their range, but as my boys are 'in betweeners', ie too big for kids shoes, but not yet fully into adult sizes, we're struggling. I wouldn't mind, but they're only 8!

Pair of Airwalks from sports direct? That's what I get my kids.

My lad used to run Nike Kenzo skate shoes until he fitted into Fivetens.

Vans or some other skate-type shoes could be an option, although need them to be reasonably tough. Thanks for the ideas, I'll look around.
