Hi
Looking at getting my 4 year old a BMX for XMAS to use in the skate park
Saw a 16 inch wheel bike recently which was way to big for him but struggling to find 12 and 14 wheel bikes in the flesh
He's 110cm tall and the size guides on the source website indicate a 14 inch wheel would fit him but concerned this would also be too big.
i know I'm probably going to have to find some to try but if you have any experience buying this size BMX id appreciate some advice
cheers
james
Consider a spawn Yoji or similar rather than Street style BMX which tend to be more cumbersome.
cheers, just had a look, they look like small mtb's. specifically looking for a BMX
If you want a proper kids bmx that will last and hold some value then look at Fit bike co Misfit 12in and 14in bikes
Chris Moeller (owner of S&M Bikes and Fit bike co) designed them around his 4 year old twin daughters and he has been designing and building frames/bikes since 1987 so knows a thing or two

The Source have them for around £320
I wouldn't size up a BMX OP, Id go for the 12 inch. If you look at adult BMX riders they will be proportionality bigger than their bikes, this is what you want for him so he can then manage the weight and size of the bike when in the skatepark.
