Hi. Following on from an earlier post regarding family trip to the Alps, Livigno looks to be booked for a few days. So, there is a full on bike park there. 11 year old boy on a hardtail? Or is there stuff outside the park that is more xc but lift assisted ( got confused looking at websites cos I can't relate it to anything ). Extra data on the boy. Pretty capable really. Bike is a Carrera Blast with upgraded fork and brakes. We/he rides, for example, Friston - no problem with the steep bomb holes ( but this is fairly smooth ), Pitch Hill, bit more gnarly but skip the really mental stuff ( me too) - he loves jumps, drops and steep suitable for his size, and last year we ended up in Glentress and he handled Spooky Descent no probs on the above bike. I give this info for comparison.
Any real world feed back or look elsewhere.
