Im trying to identify shoes for my 11 yo son that i can fit either SPD or eggbeater cleats to, but am struggling to find many.  does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Should be easy. Look for adult shoes at size 4. For my daughter (now size 5) I've been searching eBay for 'new' small women's SPD shoes. Normally pay around £30-40 a set for shoes that have not had cleats fitted (for shoes sold at £150ish normally).

@nixie

Have a look at Evans for the Five Ten Kestrel. Our daughter have raced with the Boa for years and rides daily in hers.

She's over from NZ for a month and has ordered some more to take back with her. She's a size 5 but goes up half a size in them

Northwave do specific kids spd shoes, but at a UK4 adult shoes are readily available and given how small some of the come up your choice may be wider.

We've had the Northwave, Planet X ones and now Shimano XC5s

My lad had a couple of pairs of these muddy fox ones. They're actually really good and well cheap.
