We're doing four days near Holmfirth during half term and taking the bikes. Anyone have any recommendations for some kid friendly routes, preferably a loop with a view somewhere along it and a pub halfway round? Kids are 10 and 12 and both good strong riders but my daughter isnt really into MTBing so Im trying to avoid technical singletrack, big climbs and fast descents.

Park at fairholmes and do the "tourist" loop around the reservoir, no pub but there is a take away cafe.
Join the tissington, pennine or trans pennine Bridleway and ride as long as you want, you would definitely be able to plan a pub stop on the way.
