Anyone any recommendations?
Group (5-8 probably possibly a few more) up there end of feb and after cheap and cheerful for the Saturday night
YHA in Keswick either not open or full, the other hostel in middle of Keswick currently closed and new management refurbing the place
Ideally like to be near town for food/pubs but any recommendations considered
Oh and any other local natural / cheeky stuff we could fit in after lap of whinlatter north, south and blue?
Ian, I'm looking for the same thing, and had looked at borrowdale youth hostel. Theres a pub about 1 mile up the road at stonethwaite.
Unless your taking beginners, there's no way I'd be going all the way down from up here to do a trail centre, there is so much better riding in the area.
Derwent Water youth hostel is good.
I know youve probably got sorted by now but.....
Were going up to keswick next weekend. The other hostel is open that weekend and taking bookings, you just have to email them! I emailed them and got a 6 person room booked just the other week.
