Anyone know anything about them, just had a look on their website and they look decent bits of kit, anyone ever ridden/owned one?
They look really nice. Never heard of them but the UK distributor is in Worcestershire not far from me 😀
It's a brand that tries to pose as a US brand but it is not 🙂
Really popular in Europe as they have a reasonable price. However the mid range models are so so, basically catchy colours, good rear derailleur and loads of their own brand components. Higher end models were well specced but that came at a price. There is a lot of reviews mostly in polish but google translate will deal with it.
My OH had one, basically sporty looking frame, bike had v-brakes, cheapo wheels, most Alivio/Deore but an XT rear mech to make it look better 🙂 Most of their bikes seem to be aimed at the XC rider but last time I was checking bikes up to £500 had an aluminium frame that weighted over 2kg.
If You're after some other Euro brands than have a look at Author (used to do a Ritchey steel framed Sector). If You want to have a good specced xc bike for the money than check Kross Level range. Good XC bikes.
To be honest if the Kellys would not be super discounted or something than I would not consider it over any other brand with proper warranty in UK. I would compare it to Canyon, Radon, Boardman's etc. Kellys is now somewhere in the middle of the pack, not as well known as Spesh or Trek etc but also not like some TraxxStarr supermarket BSO's.
[edit] So it seems they have a distributor in UK 🙂 but still I just don't like their bikes and they seem to do the same trick with the spec, almos full X9 but cheap chainset and hubs. [edit]
