New lid time and the newer Giros don't seem to fit as well as my old Monza.
Tried a Kask Rapido, seems a good fit and comfy with it.
The retention thingy looks a bit tougher than the Catlike one, which felt a bit flimsy.
Any issues in use?
Ta in advance.
Kask vertigo.. Very comfy and forget I've got it on. Would definitely buy another
Giro shaped head here. I found Kask dug in at the back of my skull. All Giro helmets just disappear on my head. I was little disappointed to be honest.
Another er too owner here, would buy another
I have a Mojito, fits really well on my noggin. Only issue I have is that my glasses don't fit great with the retention system.
Have a Mojito and a Protone, very happy with both although neither seem to hold glasses in the vents very well.
Recently got a Mojito. Nice and secure, comfy too. Also quite pleased with the build quality.
Takes a minute to get my glasses (Uvex) to sit just right due to the legs bumping the rear retention - but once into place you forget about them.
I'm on my 2nd Mojito for the road, and love them.
Got a Rex for MTB and that's really good too, though there's a big gap in sizing between the M & L so be sure it fits right. My L is in all honesty a tiny fraction too big, but the M was too small for sure.
Thanks for the replies folks.
I'm deffo a medium, tried one at Merlin earlier and it was fine.
Going to try a Decathlon one before I pick one up though - at £28 it would be rude not to.
Mine is a great lid, retention system is really good.
Mojito here. As others, retention system can get in the way of glasses, plus the way that it's hinged tens to put pressure on the top edge of the retention strap rather than spreading it evenly. That said, I'm happy enough with it and don't find it uncomfortable.
Mojito here. Black and yellow one, love the colour scheme and love the helmet
Pricey though
2 Mojitos and a Dieci here. Very happy indeed with them.
Probably the most popular helmet around here and I have no issue with the expensive road one after a years use. I do think there expensive though, I don't see the extra between a £40 and a £140 lid.
Rex's were £79.99 at ribble
The DHB Aeron helmet is made by Kask and only 50 quid. I like my Mojito so might give one a whirl.
Mojito owner here, love it! (Fan of older giro stuff too)
v. happy with my mojito.
ribble had some good deals too I think.
It's all about if the shape suits you. Love my Vertigo and Rex - the leather strap really is nicer than webbing. The retention system is good but not notably wow different from those on other helmets I've used.
Good to read positive reports as I've got a Mojito arriving today, not tried one on, so fingers crossed it fits, or it will have to be sent back.
