Anyone see the his 1440 fail last week @ the BMX Triple Challenge? Poor bloke stove his eye and cheek in with his own handlebar.
Think this will encourage more goggles at BMX events?
It’s sort of surreal watching everyone cheering and laughing right up until someone sees him up close. I could see straight away something was wrong. Stern stuff. I read that he seems well-supported and initial plastic/reconstructive surgery is completed. Eye gone of course. Sobering stuff. Wonder how that will effect distance-judgement looking fwds?
