With your username, I was expecting some black stealth machine with rockets on the side etc...

Maybe the road bike is Robin's? 😉

Seriously tho, is it a Butcher or a Nickel?

How do they always look so high? Probably the massive steerer stacks and the seats in XC height mode.

Looks kinda odd, like there's something missing from the back end

dear lord, I though my ellsworth was a munter of epic proportions!
as long as you like it and more importantly it rides well I'm sure you'll be able let it out in daylight without old ladies and children vomiting and running away 😆

Hi jedi nope, from the top Nickel, Nomad 2 and a Heckler.
Ride wise yes mate it does ride very well like a plusher superlight. stiffer, alot less brake jack in my opinion and with the xtra travel an ideal trail bike for us softy's down south.

I love SCs I've had 3.
But batman, way too much steerer, get your bars
lower, chop top of steerer off. No bent thomthom pothtth, just wrong. maybe buy bigger frame next time. Crank brothers stuff is useless, get rid. is your chain going to rub against the seatstay-no so get rid of leyzene item. Drop saddle and remove RRP guard for pic. Buy cushions for garden chairs.

Posting pictures of your new bike always ends up in it getting slated.

Always liked Nomads. Never liked white bits. Or layback posts.

As long as the OP likes riding it, its all good.

My New Bike Thread-defn> posting pictures on internet forum chat boards of mass produced articles with no inherent aesthetic value in the vain hope of garnering the approval of a peer group to boost ones self worth or social standing.

Posting pictures of [s]your new[/s] any bike always ends up in it getting slated.

the only thing that matters is that you love riding it, opinions of tinterweb geeks, pseudo gnarrcore fat boys and the xc jeypride brigade mean nothing.

unless the thoughts of total strangers actually mean anything to you. in which case run away now as this place will warp your fragile little mind 😉

Hay foureyes it's an xl.
Swisstony it rides more like a superlight but stiffer, plusher in the mid stroke but to be fair im still playing with the rear shox and just got new front end so not gonna give a full opinion better for me forsure, but the heckler is a fine frame but im not a big jumper or hard hitter i was just a big heavy guy who liked fast singletrack..

Hey batman11,
a problem shared is a problem halved.....

I've just had a rush of blood to the head ( and a rush of money from my wallet ! )

Blur LT carbon used frame (cond... 9.7/10)
New large black Tallboy (calm down ladies) frame

This was my post asking for advice....but then had a funny 5 minutes!
http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/blur-zesty-or-orangedecisions-decisions

Pics to follow as they're just lonely frames at the moment

😀

ps:

will be selling a few things in the next days (house, car, body .., and bikes )
