Going tubeless on the road bike having been tubeless on mtbs for years.
Will I regret it? Will they really feel any different to my 25c gatorskins that I run year round?
It might give a small bit of extra grip and compliance but don't expect the same puncture sealing miracle you've experienced on the mtb.
Amy extra grip will be awesome as my gatorskins despite NEVER getting punctures are just lethal in the wet!
I've got them in 25mm. Lovely tyres - incredible grip and a nice feel.
Ive been useing Spesh roubaix tubless tyres on the road bike for the last few years. And as much as I’m hesitant to say it I’ve had no flats.
Grip is better than the conti 4 season I used before
But I can’t tell the difference in comfort / feel
Crappy top dressed road still drags like buggery
I run Hutchinson Sector 28s on H Son Plus using Stan's tape, goo & valves. No probs at all.
grippy, comfy and quick. What's not to like ?
Oh, yeah, they cut to **** on my local roads
others like 'em though so just don't bring them to the mean streets of rural southern hampshire and expect to get out alive
What pressure is everyone running on a 25c tubeless? Im 80kg normally (bit heavier as I broke my elbiw 3 months ago and have only just got back on the bike).
