Yes.
Are you funding this with the refund from Evans?
Have you considered two kippers and a haddock?
Cheers

OP, how many threads do you need to start about a Zesty 314.
I am as confused as every one else on here. One thread is asking about a refund as you broke the wheels and rear triangle only riding on a red trail, another thread on broadly the same subject asks:
"Do you think it be worth replacing my 32mm x 150mm forks for some
36mm x 160mm forks would they be stiffer and stronger"
Now, I think, you want to know if you have made a mistake ordering a 2013 model?
In answer to your original question. Yes. It would appear so.
Is it half term?
Why the thread resurrection by Horatio?

When did 16 year olds start buying two and a half grand bikes? 😯
Definitely don't want a Zesty - the chain stays break and the wheels are too weak for DH!!
Why don't you check out one of the knowledgeable review sites out there - this place seems spot on and could be just the place for the sort of advice you need:
Contact us any qwestions about membership, what were about intrestesd in starting mountainbiking on a budget, what to bike to buy
They've also got some sage words about AM bikes too:
BEGINNERS GUIDE TO ENDURO/ALLMOUNTAINwritten by tom smith
what to look for in a beginers bike?
a good frame is essential if ever you decide to upgrade your bike
reliable drivetrain your going know were fast without descent gears
fairly short stem 70mm roughley get some control whe shralpin
chain device will help when it get a bit rocky or rooty
wide bars and your a nutter if you dont.
cost: 2500 NEW! cost; 1500-1800 2ND hand
Apologies OP - didn't see this was a thread resurrection.
Once you've got your refund sorted out for the chipped paint etc I reckon there's a plethora of other bikes that you have never seen or ridden that you could take a punt on...
Cheers

I heard about a guy who had such problems with a Zesty wanted a refund got refused and went and bought another even though he was unhappy with his existing Zesty and the service.
Go figure?
Creative writing at it's best! Every word correctly spelt, just the wrong words.your going know were fast without descent gears
