Ouch!

I love that finish - much better than the black the Blur XCc comes in.

XTR brakes and pedals next month when i have some money

What brakes do you have on there at the moment? It looks like you've got a pair of Formula The Ones? If so, is it really worth splurging £400 on some XTR brakes when you've already got one of the best brakes on the market, particularly if money is tight?

Is that an elite or masterpiece thomson seatpost?

XTR pedals? There are lighter pedals (caged or not) out there for less money, Probably not as good 'feel' though

Nice bike though, I'd probably have a dropper post in it if it were me, a reverb or an i950r I reckon

the post is the elite thomson.

As for pedals, i like shimano's and thought it was rude to put something other than XTR on the end of XTR cranks. Although i did think long and hard about time pedals, as a few buddies swear by them.

The brakes are very very powerful, i just dont like the lever feel, not enough modulation (Still a billion times better than my old elixirs)

As for drop seat post, running a carbon railed gobi xm saddle and the oval rails will only fit in the rockshox reverb (i think) gonna see how reliable they are before i spend $300 on a seat post

And as for the change, well the old blue one was getting a bit old and I had to have the flat black with the XTR looks soo nice togeather, also hoping it will make the BC bike race easier

Very nice!
I highly recommend the new XTR Trail brakes and pedals! They are in fact the ONLY 2011 XTR bits on mine... Thus far that is 😉

I think this should be against forum rules...putting up pictures of fancy bikes is tempting me to waste my money.

My wife already doesn't understand why I need two bikes...I'm not sure I can get away with a third and a bike is difficult to hide.

Nice bike.

Agree the brakes and pedals are the standout items in the 2011 xtr catalogue.

Apologies for flaunting shiny things...

Mine comes in at 29.5 lbs as is. Not especially light, but it has reasonably hefty tyres, bars, forks, seatpost etc. It wasn't built to be light, but it feels bomb proof! I previously had Revelation Teams and a Monarch shock, but the Fox stuff really firms the bike up at the expense of a little weight.

I love it!
