Need a new fork for an old Genesis CdF, which is a 390 a-c (I think). Lots of gravel forks however are closer to 400 a-c. I know this will slacken things a bit, but how serious/bad is this in reality?

Cheers

10mm isn't a lot, it's also well within the margin of error for the "randomly selected end points" method of measuring which tends to be used in the bike industry

(common wisdom was 0.5 degrees for 10mm I think but fill yer boots https://bikegeo.muha.cc/

Hmm - I remembered this as 395, but it's 398.

Thanks for that dangerourbrain - great resource. Gives me a -0.68deg change so, yeah, feels ok to me.

Saw those honoutrablegeorge but they're tapered and I'm limited to 1-1/8 straight streerer with the old CdF frame. There's the Genesis CGR1 fork, but a bit spendy at £350

Was wondering about this

Stock steel forks are available too in QR/IS mount or bolt thru/Flat Mount.
