I've got a few.
Wrath of The Titans.
I don't like to go into Redlands Woods in Surrey on my own......just in case I awaken the Cylopses that live there:
Wrath of the Titans
Full Metal Jacket.
I often smile whilst riding along the Mead Wall,Cliffe Marshes in Kent aka Vietnam:
Vietnam
and more recently the final scenes of the Black Mirror Smithereens episode were shot on a local bridleway in Gravesend-the area/woods attached were closed off for a few weeks:

Ardverikie Estate (No Time to Die)

The Narnia Track, where funnily enough, the a lot of the Narnia film/s were shot in Canterbury. (Flock Hill Station, I think)
It was mostly 4wd track on heavy cart and a road climb back. I was dragging my Magic Marys round ready for a day's gnar on the following day so was not a happy bunny.
I ride around Wells in Somerset in Somerset a lot.

Saunton (Braunton Burrows) is 15 minutes ride from my place
https://www.devonlife.co.uk/out-about/places/films-made-in-devon-1-5480701
Well, there's a little-known location where I rode around the 2009 Harry Potter green screen sets.
Swinley, obviously 😉
It'll probably turn out they shot Bond in the woods behind Nationwide.
@ Scotroutes I think I came close to riding near Bens beach myself last time I was up in Scotland, loch Morah was on my radar and to do list, but alas only got as far as a drive out to the Harry Potter Train Bridge.
@Kahurangi Whereabouts was the Narnia track Blean Woods Area?
Local trails.

Amusingly, was once sitting atop the Down on a hot summer's day, getting my breath back and soaking in the view, when a lovely American couple approached me, and in the most charmingly earnest voice, asked, "Excuse me, sir, is this where they filmed Watership Down?"
“Excuse me, sir, is this where they filmed Watership Down?”
Took me a while to twig this one. Too many mince pies.
The only thing I've ridden around here involves Calendar Girls, which sounds a bit wrong.
Lots around my area on the military areas but a few to mention:
Bourne Woods south of Farnham - Gladiator, various others
Military areas at Hawley - a few Bonds but most notably the sandpits were I think the NK/SK no mans land in Die Another Day
Skyfall Lodge is actually in Hankley Common, near Hindhead (plus a bit of CGI)
They shot the recent Netflix series 'Cursed' at Deepcut, with a huge wooden set. It wasn't the only wooden thing about it.
Minley Manor at Farnborough again, where Gorrick have the Torq 12:12; theres a big Chateau tucked away in the trees (some riders won't even know it's there despite it being massive) which is a set from one of my favourite (guilty pleasure) films, Stardust.

The Full Monty; pretty much all the locations in the film are within a couple of miles from my front door. None of them are particularly pleasing on the eye though.
A few films have used some of the old quarries I ride thorough in the Beacons, don't know the names of them though.
Did have one memorable moment where I dropped in over a small lip at the back of Trefil Quarry to be confronted with a dozen medieval soldiers and a trebuchet with fake flaming oiled projectile! They had to stop and reset their take for that one.
Have bumped into Emma Watson out on the hills above Sennybridge, filming some indy film. I didn't look my best as it was a wet, muddy ride.
Outlander, but I keep that to myself as it's really shite.
Leamington Spa. 😂

@gravesendgrunt, don't recognise that area, this is near Castle Hill in Canterbury, https://www.newzealand.com/uk/feature/the-chronicles-of-narnia-filming-locations/
Outlander, but I keep that to myself as it’s really shite.
Outlander the movie?
el chorro gorge from von ryans express
Minley Manor at Farnborough again, where Gorrick have the Torq 12:12
This should be familiar to anyone who's raced over/under the "bridge to nowhere"

Outlander the movie?
I'd no idea there was a movie, the accents in the first episode of the TV series were quite enough!

@Kahurangi that's funny I assumed (wrongly) you was talking about the Canterbury I ride near-in Kent ,in the UK
There must be peeps riding through Lord of the Rings ish scenery out there too.
I’d no idea there was a movie, the accents in the first episode of the TV series were quite enough!

Pontins Abergele, On the Busses,
St asaph as above.
Crimea pass carry on up the kyber,
Formby woods, War of the worlds, bbc tv.
Chester/liverpool/ woolton/childwall, Hollyoaks
Liverpool bread streets, Bread
Brookside close, Liverpool. Brookside
Many years ago did a night cheeky night descent of the Watkin Path down Snowden. Also used as the Khyber Pass in Carry on up the Khyber.
Ivinghoe beacon

I passed a glamour shoot on military vehicles in the Goyt Valley once, dunno if that one ever made it to the silver screen.
I ride past the Emmerdale set every week or so.
Buttershaw estate, Bradford. From Rita Sue & Bob too.
Tollymore Ireland, Game of Thrones country. An absolute gem of a spot.
Full Metal Jacket.
Mead Wall aka Vietnam
tick! 🙂
(on my Raleigh Grifter / Raleigh winner as a kid, at around the time they filmed it)
CATS Eyes - same location, but might have been the other side of one of the pools, ie the track out to the old blue circle sailing club pool.
just trying to work out exactly which field that would be with the pylons. my first ever job was picking apples under the pylons, which was ace in a thunderstorm 🙂 orchards are grubbed out and is arable now afaik.
Narnia
tick! 🙂
the bit that's the Soca river @ Bovec, Slovenia
Revolution - partly filmed around Burrator. Not a well known film despite Al Pacino being in it. It was so shite he didn’t make another for 4 years.
Rebel base from The Force Awakens.

Which are the old cruise missile bunkers on Greenham Common. They've also been used in the next Fast and the Furious film - Vin Diesel's trailer was at Newbury Rugby Club.

Pontins PRESTATYN not Abergele for on the buses... woods behind castle in Abergele 2020 series of I'm a nonentity get me out of here!

Cave of Caar-Bannog, Monty Python and the Holy Grail 😁
Drove a truck through a bush onto the set of captain America. Then rode through a battle sequence for a ww1 documentary as the were about to shoot.
it's Midsomer Murder country around here. They're often filming when I'm out. And Mapledurham is the Eagle has Landed's village/church etc.
Turville is Dibley, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang village
Kelling Heath is Norfolk was in that rubbish Bond film with a North Korean diamond dealer. Nice cycling through the woods
Holkham is Shakespeare in Love, and the Eagle has Landed.
I've got this!
All the scenes from BMX Bandits - namely Manly coastal path and the waterslides (closed when we were there).
Loved the film as a BMX mad youngster so when my brother emigrated to Sydney the first thing we did when visiting was to re-enact the film with my brother and MrsRNP.
Another Redlands rider...hadn't realised Wrath Of Titans was filmed there. Last one I heard of was season 2 of The Witcher. Again it looks like they used the same dead tree!
Any Surrey folk know about the film set & old wooden hut/house built in Summer 2019 in the woods at Dick Focks Common/Effingham Forest?
Also rode through the wooden hut village built for season 2 of Ghosts. Next to the manor itself opposite Sheepleas. Sets dont look as impressive depending on angle...

Anyone ever ridden the peaks killer loop?
@Nuke that hut in Dick Focks Wood was for Hannah series 2 on Amazon Prime.
Rebel base from Force Awakens, went past it this morning.

The rebel base in episodes 7 & 8, well ok the woods around the bunkers at Greenham common.
Was quite cool riding the trails knowing there was a X-wing and half the Millennium Falcon just behind the bunkers.
Just beat me there...haha
Smithereens was filmed 'here' on the bridleway heading into Cozenden Woods.

Die Another Day prison camp was Long Valley, Aldershot - there was a Russian Tank parked there for quite a while afterwards.
Band of Brothers filmed some scenes at the top of Hungry Hill, Aldershot - they had to cgi-out Farnborough Airfield
Ridley Scott's Robin Hood was also filmed at Bourne Woods, Farnham
There was an Alice in Wonderland remake at Frensham Common a while back - there was some sort of battle scene there with fake dead horses
Davinci Code, ends at Rosslyn Chapel surrounded by local trailz
Talking of the Force Awakens, quite a few of us will have bashed around this.

@gravesendgrunt
Well, Bugger me.
I never knew a part of Full Metal was filmed there.
I was up there a a month or so back (hiking with o/h) but I'm not exactly sure if we were on the Mead Wall or not. I'll have to Google exactly where that part is.👍 Quite excited to tell her part was filmed there. She won't care but it won't stop me being excited telling her!
I think Upnor beach was used on tv once a long time back but can't remember what in?
Grain, the section near the naploeonic fort just off the beach/mud was used in a low budget post apocalyptic film only a few years back.
@martinhutch where is that?-I feel like I recognise it,but then again most reservoirs, lakes and lochs look similar.
The Force Awakens also did some shooting in the Forest of Dean
Puddletown forest, there’s even a trail named to mark one of the occasions.
https://strava.app.link/vMaPBXRmycb
where is that?-I feel like I recognise it,but then again most reservoirs, lakes and lochs look similar.
Catbells just out of shot...
Dragonstone from GoT. Shot around some flysch cliffs near Zumaia, have ridden road & mtb around there for the last 12 years or so, though I’ve never seen GoT.

Castle and flappy things superimposed!
@martinhutch where is that?
Borrowdale in the Lakes. They composited a load of north Lakes scenery together
Going 'Oi! That's Borrowdale' to my kids during the film wasn't appreciated much.
I always hum 'Cloudbusting' when I ride up Whitehorse Hill/Dragon Hill.

I never knew a part of Full Metal was filmed there.

Of all the tracks around there, I would imagine that you'd be on either the path that follows the shoreline going round to Egypt bay, or Cliffe Fort, or one that goes between the pools, which is where I think the Saxon Shore Way now goes? In which case, either way you'd have at least gone past the end of Mead Wall or the other side of the pool from it. Which is close enough in my book.
I think Upnor beach was used on tv once a long time back but can’t remember what in?
I can certainly picture a TV show at either the Ship or the Pier pub at Upnor, but can't think what it was. Most of the filming around there is on the other side of the river, in the dockyard. And that list is endless. James Bond, Call the Midwife, ...
As for the field with the pylons, it was a different one to the one I thought, but I'll tick that off anyway, since all those roads around Cobham, Camer etc. out to Brands Hatch were part of my old roadie training loops (as well as the entire Hoo peninsular)
Ridden in the jungle where Predator was filmed 👍
Puerto Vallarta, Pacific coast Mexico.
Crow Crag from Withnail & I is near Shap. Dropped in there on a ride a couple of years ago.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleddale_Hall
As Limbers above, Icings Beacon gets used a lot. Saw it was in Killing We've where they have a big shoot out.
They've been up there again dimming an Amazon Prime series (Britannia I think). They left the props up over Halloween which made sure some interesting night rides...

They recently (2018) filmed a WW2 horror movie at Minley which proper put the willies up me when I came across the film set, just glad it wasn't a night ride...

But the pub interior is the Black Swan (aka Mucky Duck) at Ockham, near Guildford. Not really on a MTB route but a regular road ride location.
Ditsworthy Warren House, Dartmoor - Spielberg’s Warhorse. Just below Burrator reservoir was used in Paccino’s Revolution.
Greenham Common, Star Wars

Every Spring I run a week long bikepacking trip across Spain from the Med to Atlantic. The route runs through a village that was in an Orson Welles classic, along a disused railway line which passed for the Russian Steppe in Dr Zivago and through a valley that featured in one of the most famous gunfights in cinema history. This sequence
used a set which has recently been renovated with donations from all over the world. James Hetfield from Metallica was one of the biggest donors and Clint Eastwood spoke at the opening ceremony.

Las Bardenas (Navarra) - One of the bond films...

Almeria - For a few dollars more...

Greenham bunker are just behind the wire fence in the background.

Warton Crag nr Carnforth. Suddenly popped out from some trees and spotted a lovely house - somehow I remembered it from Sherlock Holmes 84-85. Leighton Hall.
No real idea why I knew it from somewhere, as we didn't have a telly back then. Took a fair bit of googling to work it out too (10 years ago!).
Also, the beach at Thurstaston in Wirral near Shore Cottage has been used a few times for bits and bobs. Think Ralph Fiennes was in the last one I remember seeing from there.
Crow Crag from Withnail & I is near Shap. Dropped in there on a ride a couple of years ago.
I tried to get Uncle Monty's cottage listed once for the landowners and escorted the Historic England assessor around it. There were tonnes of wine bottles and candles and even a visitor book hanging by string from one of the beams. It was rumoured the old range was nicked to order for one of the Gallagher brothers.
It's a nice ride out of Wet Sledale, over the Cockpit and down to Ullswater.
Also, Yew Cougar Scar above Arncliffe was used in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves when they were on horseback escaping from Guy of Gisbourne to the forest.
That's on the cheeky BW/FP from Malham tarn to Arncliffe which I'm sure many on here have done.
As a teen we went down to the local bingo hall as they'd got film crews everywhere. Picture the scene in a mining village upt north. Me n mi mates watched some pillocks dance around for a bit so we buggered off on our BMX's.
Turned out to be the Full Monty.
Cave Dale - Princess Bride; Forest Chapel / Bottom of the Oven (Macc Forest) - League of Gentleman Christmas Special; plus a few of the one's covered above.
Corrs brewery in Golden, Colorado; where the Hell of the West race in American Flyers starts from...
The greatest cycling movie of all time 😉

The race in the film was based on the Corrs Classic, an actual stage race sponsored by Corrs brewery.
Also, The Kessel Run in Fruita, the MTB trail mentioned in Star Wars 😉
