69.5" height/33" inside leg
What road frame size would you recommend?
Depends completely on the geometry of the frame.
54-56cm ish
I await correction....
Tempted to agree with khani. That's about the same as me but I just got ride of a 56 for a 54
Well, there you go. I'm only 67.5" with a 31" inside leg and have just bought a 56cm road bike which fits me perfectly. My tourer is a 54cm of course.
I've got a trek road bike, 6ft 34inside leg, 56cm frame fits spot on
Ok, cheers. Its for a normal sportive sunday club run type bike, no racing, for my dad. He told me his bike shop recommended a 58cm. His bike shop IMO is rubbish, and this sounded wrong to me.
Based on the bike that I just bought for myself (also for Sportives as it happens) it may well be correct. Isn't there just the chance that someone in the bike shop actually knows better than you after seeing him and maybe sizing him up in the shop?
The last bike they sold him was a 52cm, and that was only a few years ago, and this a replacement for it.
The last mtb they sold him was a carbon fibre saracan xc race hardtail with big chunky dh rims and a rohloff.
