Just bought a Rockshox Reverb..... And will be taking it out for it's first outing in wet and muddy North Wales tomorrow... 😀
Was just after some advise from other Reverb owners... How many of you have covered the post with inner tube or lizard skin or shall I MTFU and just leave it... Such a shame to cover up a thing of beauty with some old inner tube.
(Oh one more stupid question 🙄 ) Are there any issues with the post when putting the bike upside down to put the wheels back on after a journey in the boot of the car....
Just come back from a very wet lakes ride, and it works fine.
Has been on for about 1/2 dozen ride so far and all is well.
No cover, just a clean and lube with forkjuice after each ride.
Righto....
If you have bought a right-hand mount, then mount it on the left side of the bars (underneath them). Will protect the remote in a crash, and turning the bike upsidedown will be fine.
Other way around for left-hand mount.
I just give mine a quick wipe after each ride, drip a bit of fork oil around the seal, cycle it a couple of times and wipe away the excess/muck.
Seems ok so far
Keep your receipt....
Personally I'd send it off to be warrantied now before it fails.
It'll come back proper awesome.
