when buying for example a new orange alpine 160 2011 it comes with the fox float 36`s 160 trvl, now will that be the 2011 forks or the 2010 ? just came into mind and thought id ask 🙂
It'll be 2011, but not Kashima
Does it matter?
well the new 2011 have the slight bronze color to the stanchions if im correct
Kashima coating is not for OEM...that means you wont get it as standard kit on any bike you purchase....it only comes when you buy the forks separately
which are about 900 quid lol, thats why i thought i would ask,
They'll still be 2011 forks though......just not as pretty 🙂

You can get them for a lot less quite easily. Freeborn for example are doing them for about £770.
The amount of time/threads your taking to buy this bloody Orange it should be the 2012 forks you should be worried about...
its not as easy as that though is it coogan, im still saving up, i cant shit money can i
