Got myself a bargain set of Revelations last year. They were pretty rough and I've taken the opportunity recently to do some renovation...

So I've gone from this (It was covered in random stickers which hid the worst):

...and now...

I'm very pleased, it's not factory-new, but they do look stunning!

Now it's time to powdercoat the frame...

What did you use to clean them up? They look ace!

I am presuming they have been re-painted?

I have some black lowers i would really like to turn white.

Full strip down and repainted lower legs.

180 grit sanding
Filled the deeper scratches
3 coats of white ptimer
400 grit sanding
4 coats of white
1200 grit sanding
3 coats of clear coat
2000 grit wet sending

Decals are a bit thicker than standard, I put them on before the clear coat for a little added protection...

Just used the spray can stuff from Halfords. I don't really have that many options available to me, and there's no reason why that stuff won't work with careful prep and a nice steady pace.
