Wow, that new trail with the big jumps 😯 - would love know to who rides them and when. Far too much for me but would love to watch.

Quite a lot of hard work going on in several places!!

Probably too hard core to post on STW but would love to see it being ridden properly

😯 refers to the one jump over the BW!!

OK too gnarr for STW!!!

Just hope to be lucky sometime and see the experts in action.

[ Might try the start of the trail and the chicken line with the mega jump - probably wimp on the two early drop ins/jumps!!! The second section, no chance!!! ]

Where is the start of the trail? I assume it's over the other side and not into the Punchbowl itself?
Haven't been upo there for a while but was planning to this weekend.
National Trust ain't going to like this. Dainty caff full of muddy bikers...

Better not give too much away Reuben, but go to X-BW between GH and CoTFW and look just to the side of the main track going down to the N. There obviously some work going on at the well known DH bit on the other side of the ridge from the tunnel.

^^^ yeah, that gap is a bit, um, obvious. Hope it doesn't cause any trouble for the area as a whole - ripping up of the whole network of trails would be a disaster.

(I'd love to have the ability and stones to ride it though)

I had been building up to ride the trails to the R (looking downhill) of this new one over the past few months. This was a surprise find today. The big jump is bloody obvious though - no attempt to hide it as the log supports form the side of the BE banking!! Looked at the jump (on foot) and reckon you would clear the BW hence the bloody big berm on the other side.

Good clip here - the new trail starts at 30 secs with big jump at 54/57 although looks less scary here.

The first bit is close to my limit s good to see proper riders doing it properly.

Nice looking trail (edit out the s of https)

Gap here at 1:05 (and in the still below) is reasonably substantial, fairly close to Leith Tower
