Technique I like, but weight looks too far back to me

She's better than me. Not very helpful, sorry, but her wheels came off the ground and she didn't crash so that counts as success for me.

Looks pretty good but it's difficult to say until you see a proper down slope landing

Bearing in mind I'm viewing on moby half asleep, the only thing I see whic might improve on that would be foot technique for even more of a lift.

I believe gmbn do vids on this very thing for bunnyhopping foot placement and where to push weight through over pedal .

Apart from that this is awesome to see and scary at same time as to what youngest can develop doing as I gone other way for a long time already. Far too long.

Maybe the slow mo but it looks like a better jump is needed.

Love the fork compression and lots of pop as she comes up but perhaps not enough pace to get the front up and then the back end.

Staying too tucked instead of standing up off the lip.

Thanks all.

That was probably the best bit to practice on as it had a longer run up - all the other rollers had really short run ups or were to mellow.

Cathro pinkbike jump video is the best I've seen for tutorial.

This is pretty much what I thought, or maybe it’s just not standing tall for long enough. I’m the same.

Young kid gets airborne on bike. It's all good. Has she asked for constructive criticism from a bunch of bridelway bimblers? She'll probably just get better on her own if she rides a lot.

Staying too tucked instead of standing up off the lip.

I agree with this though. She looks great coming in like she's loading up for a mega pop then she never extends to suck the bike up.

When I was trying to explain it to my girlfriend I said the bike wants to jump. Without you holding it down it would go sky high so you need to get out of its way. That means pulling your hands up when the bars hit the face and standing to jump off the pedals when the back wheel is on the way up.

That might be gibberish but my Mrs hit her first ever jumps quite successfully with me telling her that.

Her 2nd phase is joined to her take off. She jumps well but all that energy is absorbed by her legs , dropping her front wheel gar too early. Make sense?
