After many mountain bike swaps and changes over the last 5 years I have finally built one that ticks most of my boxes. I can almost hear the laughs when I say that it's a Barracuda Jackabat. But riding is believing. Been modified quite a bit from stock with pace forks and quality wheels. xt mechs .But what a peach to ride! Far more precise and lively than either my stumpjumper or p1 or for that matter last year's Saab carbon h/t. So good in fact I have just bought another for the princely sum of £80 so as not to be without when I am staying at my partners. Oh joy!
Cool! Hope you have removed the triple on the front and gone 1x.
No at 64 I need some gears but I do ride jump tracks and do a bit of downhill.I reduced the outer ring to 40t to reduce grounding. Gonna make a bash ring next job
