Been toying with the idea of getting a jump bike for a while, I enjoy going down the pump and jump tracks locally especially as my son is getting into riding. My mtb just doesn't handle well on these tracks, any advice on what to get or does anyone have an old one even if it needs repair I would be interested. Thanks

My son has a Saracen Amplitude 24" wheel dirt jump bike he no longer uses (and i would happily sell to clear the garage!). Depends where you are though - bit too heavy to post!

If you want to go cheap and second hand (and are in the Midlands), I have an old Planet-X Jack Flash I want rid of due to lack of use.

A bmx at 6ft2 feels a bit odd after riding a mtb for years!
First set of doubles I hit and I nearly did an involuntary backflip 😮
You should probably go with a jump bike unless you have a BMX background as you will find it far more usable.

astura, I'm actually just outside Stourbridge. There are some (very poor) pics in the link below and I can give you a full spec along with better pics if you want. The changes from the pics are that the cranks are now FSA Alpha Drive, the front brake is now a ProMax Mechanical Disc (back is still Deore hydraulic as pictured unless you want front and rear matching, I can put the mechanical on the back if you so desire) and the saddle is an On-One Big Nose.

In terms of price, I was thinking around £100. Let me know your thoughts.
