I've got a Kona fat bike with a Joy Tech 150x15mm front hub.

I'm hoping I can replace the bearings myself, but there are no service instructions, Kona have nothing either.

I'm used to working on hope and superstar hubs, but I can't get the end caps off the front hub!

Model is (I think) D041-15 or maybe D201sb-15

Any tips will be very welcome!

OK, so for the benefit of anyone else with these hubs.

The key diagram is this one

There's a couple of challenges...

The side caps (6) are held in place by rings (5) that are cryofitted? into the hub shell. These need some force to remove.

The axle 'sleeve' (1) is a tight fit, you can't move it to get a drift in to knock out the bearings, the gap between the sleeve and the bearings was too small for my bearing puller to get a good grip.
Applying lots of heat to the hub body and gentle use of the puller + slide hammer got the first one out. After that, it's easy/normal. Needs 6902-2rs bearings.

Compared to Hope hubs, it feels like these ones were not designed to be serviced!
