My Solarstorm X2 died the other night, so looking for a cheap replacement for a helmet light, saw the Jobsworth Torrent 700 lumens on Planet X & wondered how it would compare to the Solarstorm, which I was quite happy with.
I bought a couple for the Strathpuffer. Worked well, no complaints from me.
Can’t vouch for that one, but I’ve always been happy with my Moon Vortex Pro on the helmet. Not too heavy / you can get a gopro mount / lasts ages on the battery front / seems solid several years down the line still.
I don’t tend to run it at the full 900 lumens - so I reckon you could get away with the cheaper Moon Vortex which seems to be £24 at Tweeks cycles at the moment.
Idling browsing this while eating my breakfast, and my inner OCD bike mechanic couldn't see past the fact they've not centered the handlebars properly.
