I'm applying for a job which (very briefly) inolves environmentally assessing tourism venues. Part of the job description says;

Ø Preferable to have an interest in and knowledge of the hospitality industry

I have worked in hotels before just doing seasonal work but am struggling to figure out what to say in terms of how this could benefit my application, other than "I enjoyed working in a hotel and know a bit about it". Any ideas?

Say something about how you are "in tune with the needs of the visitors and can balance these up against the requirements of running a successful business".

Just lie, the job description will contain loads of lies, jobs are never that good when you start. They never tell you about the crap you have to sort out or the ****ts you have to deal with or the shite hours you end up working just to fix the mess your given.

They want to employ the perfect person, so tell them you are that person.
