IDEAL FOR:
Cycling
Not cycling
Raising money for three excellent charities
Wearing something with a swear word on it

Thanks OP, I look forward to the self-set challenge of wearing these to work for just one day.

Like the STW 100th edition mug/subscription etc, a great idea.

EDIT: It feels a bit 'bucket list' to order a quality pair of pink socks with a swear word. 🙂

I'd love a pair if they do another run.

My son's Scout troop are doing a pentathlon challenge for Cancer Research in May as one of the kids has been battling it for nearly a year now.

I'd love to order 30 pairs for them to wear on the day, but arguably not suitable for kids aged 10-14. 8)

Goes to show how much Jenn touched people she came into contact with. 🙂

To be clear, I wasn't being sarcastic. It really is wonderful.

I'll be buying some as soon as they come back in stock. 🙂

Agreed.
Maybe touched was the wrong word but sums up how I felt about the way she inspired Mrs stu at events.

Really great idea and, as they sold out, obviusly lots of folk think they are cool as - is , or simply want to support Jenn's memory (as do I), but socks that say "****" are a bit rude for me really.
so, **** CANCER would be lovely please

Realistically, I'm not going to get much chance to wear pink sweary socks. The intention was to contribute to #Jennride / #ForJenn etc, and I've done that, so if you want the L size, just bob me an email after making a donation to PostieRich's justgiving page for the same amount, and I'll send them on when they arrive.

had an email to say mine are on their way. I'll be wearing them next Sunday to run the Wilmslow Half Marathon - raising money for The Christie.

shameless plug

its 12 years since i ran my last half marathon, so naturally I set myself a target of beating my time. aiming for 1:30!

Mine are on the way but agree with Timbur, that a non sweary pair would be good too. I will have limited chance to wear the left sock at work or at home!

Just ordered two pairs, my kids will have to turn a blind eye in the knowledge that I have been one of the lucky ones who have come out the other side of cancer.

I look forward to wearing and offending as I go!

....brilliant Morvelo

Our way of remembering a friend and giving something to those that helped her.
All proceeds, not just profit, will be split to those charities that were there when she needed them. Macmillan Cancer Support, Cancer Research UK and St Gemma's Hospice.
We have 500 of these at the moment so we're looking at giving £4500 to them. Once we sell out, we'll make more and keep going. There is no better reason to wear something bright and sweary.

Thank you Jenn

I bought two pairs 'just because' but I'm faced with a similar limited opportunity to wear them. Wearing two right socks (or indeed two left) is probably a non-starter.

Wore mine yesterday - dead comfy and light. **** Cancer is a well known phrase, despite being a bit sweary. I have no problems wearing with pride!

Jenn was a good friend in her Barcombe days. I have no problem with the phrase but I'd rather give a donation than buy a pair of socks and not be able to wear them.
My Step dad just had a chunk of his prostate removed. He was a lucky one as he had choices.
Every day I see the Downs and every day I think of Jenn. She's still here, but you won't see her if you try looking.

Those who have a diagnosis confirmed can also wear them the other way round. Though the Cancer should really have a comma after it to satisfy grammar rules.

I'll be wearing mine with pride tomorrow at the London Marathon ( http://singletrackmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/tom-hill-runs-london-marathon-for-st-gemmas-hospice-forjenn/)

Thanks to those STWers who were inspired by Jenn and have donated to a great cause - it meant a lot to me.
