A mate of mine was down at GT today to see if the Jailbreak trail had finally opened. I rode it a wee while back and have been banging on about it for ages. Figuring it would maybe have featured on the cancelled vallelujah enduro they went looking.
Anyhoo , they rode it but were saddened to read a sign at the bottom saying the trail was to be destroyed by the FC. I've seen an online petition from the builders (edinburgh uni lads) to get it finished and keep it open. Anyone have any more info .? The trail is so well built and the man hours they have put into it are quite staggering It just seems such a shame.
Going by a post on facebook.. it sounds like the builders were a bit naughty and cut down some large trees.. FLS tend to see that as criminal damage so they have put the foot down.
