You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Well following on from my thread yesterday I have decided I don't like the way it looks 😳
So I want to resurrect my old Pipedream which was always a bit small for me, so my thoughts are longer stem & layback post, I'm sure this used to work OK for most folks, but what will I be missing out on? How bad can a long stem be?
Cheers.
Try wider bars. It has much the same effect of slowing the steering and getting you lower with your core and arms flexed and engaged more. But it's better for pushing the bike over in corners. I guess the pipe dream has quite sharp steering so slower steering might actually not be too detrimental.
Try it and if you don't like it then change it for something else.
I have one. On my road bike 🙂
I had a 130mm on my road bike too
