After fitting about a dozen different tyres to different rims I finally met my match.
Schwalbe Pro Ones on Fulcrum Racing 400 rims. Despite the fact that this is the recommended tyre for the rim (and it says Tubeless Easy on the tyre) I can't get the beads to seat.
I can get pressure in there but even around 90psi the beads are still not fully seating.
Would one of those KoolStop Tyre jacks help me get the bead on to the rim if I take the tyres off and start again?
Or should I buy an airshot style pump?

using a lever to lift the bead onto maybe half of the rim circumference can make quite a big difference to the bead "catching - and soapy water / rim soap / drop'o'jizz on the rim helps with proper seating IMO

It's has inflated well and half way round is up on the rim shoulders but even with the soapy water it won't go further.
Just ordered a Bontrager Flash Charger.

I had issues fitting my first tubless tyre even with an airshot , I just couldn't get it to seat so in the end I used a tube which worked a treat, removed tube, fitted valve and let the airshot do it's work. I hope next time I have more success and it was just  bad luck and my stupidity this time 😕

Get some Schwalbe Easy Fit - works well with their tyres. Saves faffing about with soapy water. Amazon sells it.

Airshot type thing with soapy water should get it done. Or try that schwalbe tyre lubricant stuff (although I haven’t tried that).

I was amazed how easily a change from 2.6” Hillbilly to 2.5” DHF went yesterday - literally easier than if I’d had tubes to be careful about. Rim was slightly wet from the previous sealant and one airshot blast and the DHF was perfectly mounted.

... would add that, when people say "soapy water" they probably should say watery soap - has to pretty soapy IME

+1 for the Schwalbe Easyfit, works a treat. I got it by default with a Procore set for the MTB, Before that I just used the watery washing up liquid but I'll keep it handy from now on.
Fitted G-ones onto those Fulcrum rims & more recently Hunt rims no bother,

Easier. Why does everything need to be literally these days?

Try soapy water on rim and whack a tube in take to 100psi and seat it then remove with as little of the bead unseated as possible.

What tape is on the rim? Scope to use thinner tape so that the circumference at the bead shelf drops a bit?

Easy Fit and the Bonty Flash Charger sorted it all this morning. I'm now a happy panda.
