Frame is new off eBay (£40!), wheels from here - remainder from the parts bin.
It's still a bit too big for her but she'll grow into it!

Always wanted build my lad his first proper bike as a joint project, but he's not interested enough in riding to make it worthwhile.

To be honest my daughter isn't that interested either!
She's just about out-grown her old 24" wheel bike so I thought I'd build something decent.
She's had the suspension from my bike (and I've gone rigid), so hopefully she'll go faster and I'll go slower. It's as much about getting me motivated and out riding with her as anything!
That is really nice. I need to get cracking with a build for my middle son soon. I haven't been biking for very long so don't have the parts bin - it gets a bit expensive buying bits!
