*Weekend Ride Pictures Thread.
Slow week for me this week with only two rides so far.

Rip round Yair this morning on my own as everyone I know was working.

Lets see what everyone else has been up to?

(the endless paving slabs were pretty brutal on the little bike)

@thegeneralist.
How were the switchbacks of death after the hikeabike?
Have they fixed the path across the scree slope or is it still a case of holding on to the rebar sticking out of it a walking very gently?

Great pic that last one @jimmy748

45km/1000m of climbing in the FoD today. Some trails not ridden since Covid. Won't be leaving them as long next time. Great to be out on the HT as well.

Two more rides but only one picture taken by @Sofaking.
Great Golfie ride on Saturday morning followed by a few beers in Tempest in the avo then watched the DH when we got home.
Local local today with tired legs and slightly heavy head.🙄

Yesterday was a ride with some mates at Tidworth, which was a complete dust bowl!

Hardly any grip anywhere, almost as bad as it would have been in the wet!
The bike was covered in white dust by the end, even had a dust shelf in front of the rear wheel.

The whole bike is now covered in a heavy layer of chalk dust, almost as bad as a muddy ride and I didn't take my mobi washer with me so it's still filthy.

How were the switchbacks of death after during the hikeabike?

FTFY 😉

Got to admit that a lot of pushing went on. Jamie, who is normally up for anything, got quite freaked by the exposure, so walked big chunks.

Gotta be said though, better safe than sorry. One of those trails that's probably more fun and relaxing with a bunch of good mates rather than beloved family.

Should have ridden Double Exposure or Vertigo for the full experience.😁

Mrsstu had to have her fingers prised off a rock after she refused to go any further.
I almost felt sorry for @cupidstunt for having to look after her.

I must admit that a few mild profanities passed my lips when my handlebar hit the cliff on one of the narrow, scary sections further down.

Luckily of course it puts the front wheel towards the cliff rather than the drop, bit still...
