Does yawn inducing family duties and "time owed" count as a sick note? I really haven't got time for a bike ride, although I am planning on taking the 3 year old out for some balance bike practise..

Don't have enough time to drive anywhere good for the mtb today so it's just some road miles this afternoon to work off my roast dinner 🙂

I'm sorting it out, my garage that is good clean out and spare parts stock check.

Was fitting some new cranks on Friday that I ordered a few weeks back, it dawned on me I already had a set somewhere so had no need to order some.

Riding with CoastKid amongst others, checking out the local trails after the winter and seeing if we can maybe find some new ones too. Enjoy everybody.

Family duties for me today unfortunately. Did manage a quick one yesterday though and may manage to get a bike cleaning session in later.

That's a great club to be in I just love it. Mind been a few weeks sine I had to stop me in my tracks and over a year since I really felt what they can do, **** me that was something.

Broken bike 😥

Well, wheel actually and I don't have a spare. Hopefully get it back tomorrow for a ride Tuesday. Getting withdrawal symptoms and I only broke it during a ride Friday!

8am Malverns Sunday ride. 22k, 770m of climbing. Drying out but lordy it was cold. 2 degrees when we started, same at the end. Brutal N wind as well. Good to be out tho, not many bikes, few grumpy ramblers.

the missus has me cornered for diy and gardening, but im on the txt arranging a ride regardless

its sunny here and the local, trashed by winter logging, trails need a bit of mtb use before the ruts dry like concrete

Oh I wish! Stuck in the office writing a paper. To be fair, can't ride at the moment. Fractured my knee exactly 12 weeks ago and already had a major victory of the first trip to the swimming pool this morning since I broke myself! Bike will be calling very very soon (once I clear the dust off it!). Good enough sick note?

Enjoy those who are going/have gone out!

my single speed is missing a rear wheel.

the patriot, trance, nor town bike obviously wont cut it for hacking, they are all far too nice, so no ride for me today!

Reporting for duty;

Off in 10 mins, home round back of Penyghent, Litton, home, 'bout 30km. Would be much more but streaming with a cold at the mo. The weather here (Dales) as very-fab at the mo though,

Cheers Jedi, just back from a great blast with 3 buddies. It's a big winch to the top, 1.5hrs of climbing (gaining 500m) then great traversing/down single track, then another winch to the top, then 40 minutes of swoopy, techy, jumpy, rooty, grippy, bermy, rocky sublime single track. F'ing awesome fun. Totally buzzing. High fives and whooping were dispensed at the bottom. 😀

Also my new bike was BRILLIANT! I am happy. 8)

Loads of people out today. Must have seen at least 30 other cyclists enjoying the road Mecca that is north west of Newcastle.

What a difference a bit of sun makes :D. Been out around local woods, 14 miles (22k if you insist). Saw 3 other riders, which is a novelty, normally only see my tracks and 1 other set where I ride. Chalked up one of the good days, that get us through the winter slog. Hoping for many more over the spring/summer.

Took the hardtail down Stile Cop to practice Jedi's drop off and cornering technique followed by a quick lap of the Monkey trail. Lovely, got some aching shoulders now though.

Had a very quick spin around Penmachno today. First time on a waymarked trail since September since moving to N. Wales. It was ace!

Took my 14 year old son with me to the local trails, he used my other 29er and loved it. Weather good, trails a little bit gloopy and my first proper ride after converting my bike to SS and due to the type of riding I do, should have done it a long time ago.

Nice 30 mile loop in the Lakes. Only been out on the road lately. Bloody knackered now ! Photo doesn't do justice to how loose that climb was. That very nearly finished me off.

Nice sunny afternoon in Devon.

Awesome steep drifty DH track to get to this point and a long drag back up...
