What's a decent upgrade/replacement for the venerable Fenix L2D of two years vintage. Must be self-contained and run off AA rechargeables. It's as a helmet spot (backup to a Airbike P7 on the bars), so nice, adjustable mount wins extra points.

Not sure there's been any upgrade to the LED spec yet. New generation led's haven't filtered through to production torches yet AFAIK. Trout is still waiting for next gen Cree's for his lights. The Twofish lockblocks are the best mount for helmet mounting an AA or CR123 Fenix.
