Ride up Beinn Ime. was a slog up - 6 hours total time. Great views at the top.

That trail doesnt look like a slog. It looks awesome.

First time back on the local fun stuff for months.

Fitness still shot and not quite back up to speed with the quickest locals, but 12/450 on the current hotly contested segment (that I'd not ridden until today's little session) with a HT so I'll take that. Absolutely destroyed me though...

Been getting out loads on the e-bike lately, so thought I'd have a local spin on my own on the 26'er. Didn't know where I was going to head for when I set off, had a lovely mooch about and found some new to me trails. Weather was fantastic and there were a couple of beautiful red kites circling at low level above Chatsworth.

Pint in Bakewell and ice cream/jelly babies at Chatsworth garden centre to get my legs working again. Many more beers in the beer garden at the end. Peroni reduced to £4.75!!

17.5 miles and 2200ft, all from my front door without having to touch more than a few hundred metres of road along the way

Beautiful early morning ride.

One night micro-holiday to the borders.

Glentress Friday. Intended to do some of the off piste but played it safe instead and followed the black route which seemed to have lots of diversions.

Golfie Saturday which was terrifying and had my legs near cramping after 3 good runs. But I achieved my aim of getting down some scary stuff and staying alive.

Then one run at inners after lunch and my legs were cooked. Awesome couple of days out.

Tried to get out for a quick early morning ride before the heat.  After too much faffage, didn't leave until 1030, and then recorded another 50km+ loop through the Suffolk Countryside during the peak heat of the day.

The old quarry/landfill site could be a pretty cool bike park location, but it has been earmarked for an artificial ski slope (like Milton Keynes) for the last 20years.. 🙄

First one was a slight disaster with Mrsstu having an off and bending her mech and hanger after only a few miles.

Second ride was more successful with me on a solo ride in Yair.

For anyone that knows Yair trails you'll be shocked to know someone has moved the red legs from their usual place and dumped them further up the trail.
