So, I've a hankering after a new full susser. It will need to be something I can get through the Halfords scheme, (so no Rose or Canyon etc) sensible price with reasonable spec.

29er
XC type bike rather than an enduro monster, (100mm travel)

What are my options? Trek Superfly 7 looks good.

Do you really need full suspension to ride to work? Would you not be better with a fast xc style hardtail?

How far is your commute?

Just looking at this for the same reasons as the OP.
Do you know how they size up? Seems quite a long bike so suspect I might be between sizes at 5' 11.

First off, pppfth, I'll not be actually riding it to work, who does!? 😀 (I am a cycle commuter though, but have a Genesis DayOne for that)
Anthem 29er does seem the obvious choice, as it's a 26 version of that I'm thinking of changing. Will have to see if I can find a shop that would supply it.
