Put in the rear wheel from my hardtail to be re-rimmed and to service the freehub, its a Hope XC. Well it was an XC, turns out the ratchet in the freehub body has loads of fine cracks in it, so its a a dead hub!
However when I think about it I've had it possibly 10-12 years so its done its job.
So here's my question.. Do I get Tubeless rims, Hope are doing a good deal with pro3 and stans rims, put them on the full sus and put the mavic 719 from the full sus on the HT.....
I think I already know the answer.

Funnily enough, my six year old Hope Bulb has died. The guy at Hope apologetically offered me an "upgrade" and a Pro2 Evo is on it's way to me at an extremely reasonable additional cost.
Can't argue with that... The only problem is now that I have a brand new Hope headset, a new Hope seatclamp and a new Hope rear hub. Something now needs to be done about the Bulb front hub which isn't pristine.
*Edit* Go for the Stans. You know it makes sense.
