That looked pretty tidy for an ebike.
I'm not surprised to see you here
You've got smokers cough from smoking, brewer's droop from drinking beer^W the height of that seatpost.
I don't know how you came to get the Bette Davis knees
But worst of all young man, you've got industrial disease
Looks like the ideal bike for the Telegraph road 🙂
The OP, earlier

Yeah - maybe that is how it came out of the box...
I wonder why e-bikes never come with a three pin plug?
Also the serial number is not recognised by the Cannondale warranty registration tool, I wonder if they already knew who it was being sent to.
Coincidentally, I've been shopping for blinds on a window, and have a pain behind the eyes. 🙂
Martin - check the top drawer, I think there is a bottle of whisky in there that might help.
You will be digging up the dirt before you know it on that.
Although you will probably meet all sorts while doing so.
Just don't fall off - you will be scarred for life.
Hopefully I will have time to ride this evening.
Other than charging the battery, dropping the seat and raising the bars, anything I need to do differently or should be aware of compared to a mountain bike?
That looks good, enjoy.
Front mech?
It isn't 2010 anymore.
Front mech? 2x10 for gravel / e-assist reliability and durability. None of this 1x11 frippery
Plus it was one of only 3 e-gravel bikes available from stock in the right size in the UK
Other than charging the battery, dropping the seat and raising the bars, anything I need to do differently or should be aware of compared to a mountain bike?
Just to remember it's not a mountain bike! I've made that mistake often enough now - hooning into stuff before remembering which bike I was on 🙂
Descend on the drops, not the tops for most control. Dropper for more fun 🙂
Get a dropper, or you will be going over the bars.
I will see which dropper I have that fits. Thanks
Getting crazy on the Topstone
But it's the life that I choose, yeah
Sing about the singletrack, sing about the switchback
And a chain ring tattoo
And I been riding on a ebike
Where the wheels they scream and slam
And I don't know where I'll ride tonight
But I'd always tell you where I am
In a screaming ring of bike lights
I seen her standing in the light
She had a Sonder Camino
Yeah, just like me, she was riding gravel for kicks
I put my hands upon the bars
Said, let it rock and let it roll
I had a two x drive train
There was an arrow through my heart and my soul
And the big wheel keep on turning
Lights burning on the bars
And I'm just high on the world
Come on and take a ride with me, girl
On the gravel roads
Yeah, love
It's just a danger, danger
When you're riding at your own risk
She said, "You are the perfect stranger"
She said, "Baby, I can’t keep up like this"
And the big wheels keep on turning
Lights burning on the bars
And I'm just high on the world
Come on and take a ride with me, girl
On the gravel roads
Oh love, love
And girl, it look so pretty to me
Like it always did
Oh, like that Ti Lynskey
When we were kids
Yeah girl, it looks so pretty to me
Just like it always did
Oh, like that Ti Lynskey
When we were kids
Voila
Check it out
She took off a silver locket
She said remember me by this
She put her hand in my pocket
I got a keepsake and a kiss
And in a cloud of dust and gravel
I stood and watched her ride away
I could have caught up with her easy enough
But something must have made me stay
And the big wheels keep on turning
Lights burning on the bars
And I'm just high on the world
Come on and take a ride with me, girl
On the gravel roads
Oh love, love
On the Topstone
Woo-oh Topstone, Topstone
Yeah, now I am searchin' through Strava and Singletrack
Searching everywhere, from segments to posts
On any night ride where promises are made
To ride away, ride away
ride away, ride away
From Grinduro to The Dirty Reiver
To ride away
And girl, it looks so pretty to me, like it always did
Like that Ti Lynskey when we were kids
Girl it looks so pretty to me, like it always did
Like that Ti lynskey to me when we were kids
Very nice, thats going to get well used for sure.
And such a big box it came in, alll that cardboard. Are we going to see a Frank Gehry inspired item made from it ?.
A wiggly stool for the workshop perhaps 😀
I think he would be better off using it as a break-fall / cardboard airbag....
I like that! probably a stupid question but where is the motor?
It's a rear wheel hub motor. Rides surprisingly nicely.
