As you know there are many websites with the whole of the uk mapped at 1:50k and 1:25k available for free! I have also found several to use in France, like this one if you did not already know about it...

I have recently been looking for similar things for Switzerland and Italy with no luck so far, has anybody ever found any good online maps to look for trails in Switzerland and Italy (more specifically Italy)?

The Openstreetmaps for mountain biking and hiking are pretty good.

Got them on my laptop for travel out there and can load segments on my phone for local rides.
