Haha, that sign brings back memories of living in bizland. There used to/might still be one at the bottom of the climb opposite the golf course.

Reminds me of the one we saw when riding around Rutland Water... at the top of every little hill Anglian Water had put a warning sign up instructing cyclists to dismount.

It used to be the signposted NCN route. It would lead you down a flight of a hundred stairs to just above the Burntisland golf course. I would regularly see overloaded Dutch bicycle tourists heading that way, I always showed them a more sensible paved road.
