I am converting to 2x10. Will my existing triple shifter and front mech be ok or do I need to change them?
My existing chain set is a Deore triple on a BB30, my bike a Cannondale RZ120-2. I am getting the 2011 X0 2x10. Do I need a new BB, and is there any compatibility issues with either the BB30 crank or the GXP one?

Yes. Adjust the mech stops so that you cant accidentally shift up to the missing big chainring. Depending on how thick the bash plate is, that you get to replace the big ring, you may need some longer chainring bolts. You may need a chainring bolt tool to get the existing bolts and big ring off if they spin when you try to undo them with a hex-wrench. Or you may get lucky.
I cant imagine a BB30 system makes any difference
Thanks Buzz. I'm replacing the whole crankset so the bolts shouldn't be an issue. The GXP crankset is £20 cheaper than the BB30 one, so if my frame will take either I will do that.
