I'm contemplating a new groupset and the Ispec setup looks nice and clean. I can see the reverb remote being a potential problem, i currently run mine on the left under the bars. Anyone out there successfully running a reverb in the same position with Ispec?

Dunno about ispec, but you might find inspiration here: http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/reverb-bar-mount-setup

I've got iSpec on the right hand shifter, and a reverb under the bar the left, but since I'm running 1x10 there's no shifter to interfere with the reverb.

All I'll say - the newer Shimano brakes have very short levers - I.e. you'll want to run them quite close to the grips. Plus, the iSpec puts the shifters relatively far outboard. Overall I doubt there will be space for the reverb lever between the iSpec clamp and the grip, if that's what you envisaged.

Hopefully someone will have some actual experience though.

Had i spec and a reverb and had to run it on top on the right as you can't get it underneath with the ispec shifters. I actually got the I spec stuff so i could run the reverb lever alot closer to the bars and it worked great with that setup (much easier to use in techy situations) but as above the new levers are very short so you tend to run them close to the grips

Great info, thanks guys. Through sheer luck my present hfx9 & deore 9 sp allow the reverb to be placed perfectly on the left under the bars, I'll do well to get it as good.
